Hi nata, I see that you will need threaded cartridges. Well, if you can find any, it will be expensive.

Have you considered alcohol stoves? Here in Turkey, denaturated alcohol is called "ispirto". I, as a lazy guy, also use an alternative alcohol source. It is named "kolonya" here. It is %80 ethanol, the rest is water and some cosmetic stuff. You can find it virtually everwhere and it is not so expensive. You just need to check the percentage. The cheaper ones tend to have lower percentage of ethanol. "Limon" kolonyası will smell lemon. ;D

Ne ilgisi var bu arkadaşın istediği malzmeyle. O burada uçaktan indikten sonra fazla vakti olmadığından dolayı panik yapmış, malzeme yok değil. Ama senin çözümünde çok güzel. Kısa vadede tutuşturucu olarak ideal malzemeler.

Good to see some foreign people in our forum.

Finding gas cartridges in Turkey is a real problem since couple of months due to legal restrictions. There is no importation for a long time. People generally recharge the empty cartridges. I advise you to bring multifuel stove. You can find fuel everywhere.

I second that. About a month ago I tried to find these as several places and were given the same answer as above. At the places I could find the cartridge (Just one cartridge in AdrenalinOutdoor at Ankamall/Ankara, one or two in Mercan/ISTANBUL) the prices were rocketed. So I gave up.

Today I was in Ankara. I went to YİBA Shopping Center (Click for location.). I visited two hunting & outdoor shops. Both had Campingaz cartridges, especially the small cartridges.

I myself bought a 450 gr cartridge from the first shop for 20 liras (in EUR, in USD) The small cartridges were 16 liras (in EUR, in USD)
